Notes on Spray-Stone: Spray-Stone is sold in 50 (US) pound pails. It is a two coat trowel, or spray and back trowel system. One pail covers 150-200 square feet of primed walls per pail, at two coats, so you will need about a pail for each 150-200 square feet of walls you plan to cover. The white plaster can be colored using any "universal colorant" from any paint company. Normal paint store colorant for interior flat wall colors will need to have colorant reduced by 75%-90% to acheive that same paint color. This is considering our sealer will slightly darken the plaster.
Keep in mind the "imperfect smoothwall" techniques include using 2-4 times the colorant on the base coat for darker "accent reveals". In this case you will need at least two pails, base and top color, or you need to split a pail into smaller pails before coloring. Spray-Stone will stay usable for many years if it is kept with some plastic wrap on top prior to covering with the lid and storing.
